After my first finance course in college, I knew this was the career path I wanted to take.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kent was born and raised in Leesburg, Georgia and came to Valdosta in 2009 where he attended Valdosta State University. He graduated from the Langdale College of Business in 2013 with a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kent is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. The CRPC\u00ae is the nation\u2019s most prolific and recognized retirement planning credential. Along with his CRPC he holds his Life &amp; Health Insurance license. He serves on the firm\u2019s investment management committee to create and manage portfolios as well as meet with and educate clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a fiduciary, Kent creates customized financial plans for his clients and their families. His other responsibilities at the firm include investment\/risk analysis, Social Security analysis, small business retirement plan analysis, and staying up to date with industry technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kent currently serves on the Greater Valdosta United Way Board of Directors, as well as the Valdosta State University Investment Group Board of Directors. He was selected for Georgia Forward\u2019s \u201cYoung Gamechangers\u201d program that consists of 50 young professionals under the age of 40. He was in the Leadership Lowndes Class of 2018. Kent and his wife Brooke have lived in Valdosta since 2009. Outside of work he enjoys golfing, fishing, traveling and spending time with his friends and family.
